CHRIS GOWER
CEO & Managing Partner Chris co-founded Lawbrook Partners in 2013 having been Managing Director and Global Head of Equities for Sheffield Haworth, a leading global financial services search company, which he joined in 2009. Prior to this, he spent nearly 13 years in investment banking, M&A and equity research, for leading firms including Rothschild, Man Group and Lehman Brothers. As a former senior equity analyst and investment banker, Chris has extensive relevant knowledge of the global investment markets with a track record of building long term senior client relationships. Chris has been successful in building equity and fixed income research, investment and distribution teams for many of the leading global investment banks and prestigious buy side institutions; and often advising small top performing funds on capital raising and M&A opportunities. Chris graduated in 1997 with a Physics degree from Bath University. He also holds a diploma from City University in Economics, Management and Law and is a Member of the Securities Institute.

GILLY CHESHIRE
Managing Partner Gilly co-founded Lawbrook Partners in 2013 having been a Senior Consultant at Rice & Dore, a leading asset management search firm, since 2002. Gilly has nearly 20 years’ experience in global equities and fixed income/macro search within hedge funds, institutional asset management and family offices. She has originated and led mandates, including high profile team builds, across all industry sectors and geographies for long only, long/short and event driven strategies. She has a leading industry reputation for executing demanding, high profile and new strategy searches (e.g. multi asset, ESG and thematics). Gilly’s extensive track record focuses predominantly on sector/country heads, senior portfolio managers and senior analysts often reflecting a client demand for her to conduct numerous cross-border assignments in US, Europe and Asia. Her global network, industry insight and long term relationship approach has reinforced her as an ‘inner circle’ adviser with her key clients. Gilly graduated from Exeter University in 1992 and started her career as a trainee accountant for BDO Binder Hamlyn (Arthur Andersen).
